Aluminum oxide (Al2O3) is a white odorless crystalline powder. It is also named as Aluminas.  Its major uses of specialty are in refractory, ceramics, high-pressure sodium lamps, new luminescent materials, advanced ceramics and coatings, tricolor, catalysts as well as polishing and abrasive applications, synthetic sapphire crystal, to make phosphors for color plasma display panels (PDP)
High purity Aluminum oxide is normally classified as those with purity of 99.999% – 99.9999%.
It is mainly used for synthetic sapphire crystal, to make phosphors for color plasma display panels (PDP) and to grow laser crystals.
