Job Title:   Manager of Process Engineering 

Position Overview:  

The Process Engineering Manager is responsible for process responsibilities ranging from special projects, re-engineering, process improvements, and problem solving and production supervisor responsibilities.

Essential Functions  
-  Monitor daily production and quality parameters
-  Daily and monthly production and quality reporting
-  Recommend process improvements
-  Design and implement process improvements.
-  Review and update Quality documents
-  Customer quality visits and related team involvement
-  Departmental projects management
-  Personnel time studies
-  Involvement in safety initiatives
- Oversee all activities within the assigned departments

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities 
-  Proven experience in Project Management
-  Familiarity and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control  
-  Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
-  Strong organizational skills and Demonstrated skills in leading the work of others
-  Ability to supervise the work of others
-  Prefer working knowledge of the Amarillo Copper Refinery

Required Education and Experience 
-  Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering
-  10 years experience

 Job Title:                    Senior Geologist

Position Overview: Responsible for originating, planning and supervising of exploration projects and major drilling programs for the Exploration Department and maintaining portfolio of mineral exploration properties, and monitors contractors, work requirements and deadlines.

Essential Functions 

Review historic geologic, geochemical and geophysical data for minesite and offsite exploration projects and prepare written reports of findings and recommendations for further action

-  Maintain company safety standards on all projects
-  Evaluate mineral deposits and mineral prospects submitted by individuals or               companies and make recommendations for further action
-  Plan and manage exploration drilling programs for the Company
-  Negotiate and supervise contracts with consultants, drilling companies and other vendors
-  Establish and monitor quality assurance and quality control programs (QAQC) for the Exploration Department
-  Work closely with the Company’s minesite geologists to plan mineral exploration programs, analyze results, and make recommendations for further action
-  Maintain working knowledge of current federal, state, and county or city regulations applicable to the Exploration Departments’ activities
-  Prepare budgets for geologic exploration projects
-  Represent the Exploration Department on interdepartmental teams
-  Represent the Manager of the Exploration Department as required  

Additional Duties 

-  Prepare geologic maps and drill hole sections and plans as required for exploration projects
-  Create and maintain computer databases of exploration results.
-  Model drill results using 3D computer programs
-  Other duties as assigned 

Required Knowledge Skills and abilities

-  Seven years or more of experience in mineral exploration, dealing with geologic mapping and sample collection, drilling projects and handling of exploration data. 
-  Familiarity of internationally accepted resource and reserve reporting requirements such as JORC, NI43-101
-  Resource and reserve calculation experience helpful
-  Must have strong interpersonal skills for dealing with government agency representatives
-  Requires the ability to handle multiple tasks
-  Must have excellent computer skills with Microsoft Windows and Office software
-  Familiarity with 3D computer modeling programs such as Gemcom, Minesite or Surpac.  Gemcom experience preferred
-  Familiarity with other software such as AutoCAD helpful
-  Must be willing to travel for extended periods depending on the location of the project
-  Must have valid driver’s license
-  Must be able to pass a company physical exam

Required Education and Experience

-  BS in Geology from an accredited university
-  MS in Economic Geology from an accredited university preferred
